Propolis separates the moment you pay from the moment you ask. Paying happens in public, with proof of work or a burn. Asking happens later, with a token nobody can tie back to the payment.
Mine
Your GPU hashes SHA-256 in the tab through WebGPU. The work is bound to a message only you can open, so it cannot be lifted and reused by anyone else.
Blind
The issuer signs a blinded request it cannot read. You unblind it into a Privacy Pass token that the issuer has never seen and could not recognise.
Spend
One token buys one agent turn. The relay writes the token's nonce as a nullifier so it cannot be spent twice, and keeps nothing else: no prompt, no answer, no address.
Every token here was paid for in work, and none of them can be traced to the GPU that mined it.
